It’s Election Day 2020. The next four years are decided today and actually probably for the next week. It’s been said we won’t know who wins until January. Others are afraid that President Trump will be re-elected. Others are hoping he will be. There is a believe things will not change and get worse. I personally agree. Every October new law and new statutes start in CT.  Some I understand, some I don’t, and of course there are those I know will raise people’s hackles.

WTF? Two more “mass shootings”.  One in El Paso and one in Dayton OH.  I had heard about the El Paso shooting on the way to Guilford yesterday but put it out of my mind.  This morning I heard/Read about OH.  I am just reading/listening to the Ohio details.

It's been a mixed bag this week.  Monday I spent most of the morning working on refunds and realized I made mistakes on the data entry.  It wasn’t as bad as  thought but it took longer to finish them.  It shortened the time I spent on the scanning which lead us to be backed up (not only because of that but because of the systems failure last week ( Read more... )

Today was  the funeral for President George H.W. Bush.  IT was held at the National Cathedral in DC.  According to one of the news reports I heard you had to be invited to this funeral.  That makes sense in ways that I can’t begin to imagine.  All Living Past Presidents were to be in attendance I believe.  I heard or read that the Bush Family and ( Read more... )
