The Students Move in this week
This week is the week the students are returning to the University campus to begin the semester. I suspect that many came earlier only because I saw some U-Haul trucks on side rides that I have taken to avoid certain areas of the city. To be honest it hasn’t seemed that bad.
The Union is taking the opportunity to doing some actions this week just letting the parents and students is aware of the current situation. Monday was the first day of the leaflet dropping. It rained that day and I was glad I didn’t choose that day to work it. However there were many others who did in various spots. I honked my support and waved at them and I am sure they all looked at me and wondered who the nut was. It apparently did the trick with negotiations this week according to the news I received from the committee meeting on Tuesday.
Anyway, I chose to do the leaflet handout on Friday night. I understand the weather is going to a challenge. I am not sure where I will be assigned and I hope we get something done. They really were just standing around talking and not really handing things out but I didn’t want to say that at the meeting.
I am still being frustrated by the kitties’ bathroom antics. Earlier this week, I was in the bathroom and Tiger came in sniffed around and walked into the shower stall and crapped in it. I was stunned.
For Some reason around the litter mat was soaked. I was frustrated so much that every time I went to clean it up I made a bigger mess. Today I went and bought a REAL MOP. I think it did the job nicely. I have also cleaned the mat and I am about to clean out the litterbox and refill it. I also broke down and ordered another litterbox. I am trying to decide if I put it in the shower stall or outside of it. I was afraid this current box may have cracks in and that’s why it seemed like it was leaking.
I have no clue to why they are doing this. I did talk to the vet tech at the Shoreline clinic and she seems to think they are just being cats. That means they do what they want.
I have to finish cleaning the rest of the bathroom still but I can do it when I get home tonight after the meetup. Unfortunately I need to get into the shower and get ready for the hematology appointment.
