Today is my Friday
Today is the last day of work for me this week. When the supervisor called me he explained he needed to stagger the number of Staff in the office. So that’s why I had Wednesday and was working today. I made some more dents in the amount of mail to open but the finance office sent some mail that they received so I had to open and sort and put the checks in the safe. This is what gets me…If it came from THEM they should have checked the mail that was open for checks because there were a couple of checks in it.
I know that I have now 2 Medium size boxes left and three envelope (8x10) types of boxes to open probably next week. VH was there again today and won’t be back until next week or whenever we are supposed to return.
I checked in with the girls. ANN was still not feeling well. LL’s daughter may have the virus. They kept telling me to go home. First you all are not my mother or doctor. They asked me to come in and as arrogant as this may sound there is no one else does the mail. It would surprise me if Shadow would come in. I know they mean well.
The commute to and from work today was light. I got to work around 7:40 which is normal for me and when I left it was 4:06 and I was home 16 minutes later.
Since I have been home I made dinner, fed the cats, watched TV, and looked at the mail and made some calls and answered some texts.
I was very disappointed that my intro letter to Linda in Alabama was returned. I learned when an Address has Lot #. It’s to go on the same line as the street address. So I will have to readdress it tomorrow and mail it back out.
I have a feeling I won’t be working much next week so I am going to have to write out my letters to the ones I have to reply to.
I have no definite plans for tomorrow yet but that may change before I go to bed. I am going to do a “to do list”. I don’t want to spend the day in front of the TV.
