(no subject)
It’s still very cold outside. It’s been in the 40’s and sunny. The temperatures will drop down ten degrees. I certainly will be buried under the blankets again tonight. I have had the heat turned down to 65 I finally had to raise it. We are not suppsed to get any rain that I can see. Tomorrow will be warmer. I believe I heard it will be in the 50’s.
So the Ladies Guild Nominating meeting went very well. We pretty much have everything in place. Ann will contact the caterer and then the tickets will be printed and we will be selling them in the June.
WE had some to socialize before we left. Carol DK shared stories of how her young daughter who had a very serious accident a week ago in town. She is the one who asked for a shower chair.
After hearing her story I had decided that she would get it for free if it was what she was looking for. We went to her house so she could try. I also discovered that her sister Rose had bought Carol’s old house up the street from me. We discussed the situation between Rose and Dave. We both felt bad but I shared my views on my relationship with Dave.
When I left there it was after 4 so I headed home trying to figure out what I wanted for dinner. I decided to come home and order from outback. After a couple of tries and searching for alternatives I ordered prime rib and vegetables.
I have also been updating some of the pen pal files. I didn’t get too far but I will continue to look through the names and then send these off to K.
I have been watching Create TV (one of the local PBS stations) and then channel surfing. Right now Dirty Dancing is on. The movie is on for the next couple of hours. There doesn’t seem to be much on so I think I might go to bed early.
I probably should go grocery shopping but the energy I had earlier today just left the building and the body. I am going to do it bright and early tomorrow.
I did manage to fold and hang some laundry and probably will have more to do tomorrow.
I can’ believe that I actually put some ratty items in a bag. It was the lace sheers on one of the windows, and had to close that window and washed it down. I think I am going to take all the sheers down and toss them instead of washing them. First I need to get back in the attic.
Well I think I will go and join the kitties for an early sleep. I don’t feel as energized as I was earlier today.
