1. I am thankful for my family warts and all. I was glad to have my brother for a Brief visit this past week. He always seems to get me yet I seem to feel I can’t talk well. Almost like I did with our Angel Brother.
2. I am thankful for my kitties. They have been pretty funny. They have been sleeping near me or with me on the couch this past week. They seem to be eating the food. NO huge problems like last week (hairballs around the house)
3. I am thankful for friends. I had to miss the Coffee meetup this week. Been playing phone tag with Mama Roberta. I suspect I will catch up with her via text or email.
4. I am thankful for the Medical Profession that keeps me healthy. Infusion issues still not resolved. I hope to hear from one or the other by the end of next week.. I see Debra tomorrow. The challenge has begun at the gym
5. I am thankful for the Organizations I belong to. . I totally bailed on the Ladies guild plant and bake sale. Sigh we have a few other things coming up. I don’t think I can go to the retreat later this month. I have a 4th District tonight. It doesn’t look like we are getting a lot of people.
6. I am thankful for the Job I have. It felt great when everyone welcomed me back this week but I have to remember to tell the leads when I leave for vacation. They didn’t know! They also realized I didn’t do it maliciously either. The union is gearing up for information sessions at least in our office in preparation for the upcoming election cycle and for the contract preparation.
7. I am thankful for my neighbors. Everyone is doing well. Actually introduced myself to some of the condo residents down the street. They seem very nice.
8. I am thankful for my home. As much as I like this house. The whole clearing out is overwhelming but I know where ever I go I will be able to live there safely and contently for the future.
9. I am thankful for the weather. It has really gone from summer to fall very quickly. Read, heard that we will have summer like temperatures over the next few days.
10. I am thankful for the men and women who choose to protect this country. ENOUGH SAID.
