I was supposed to go to a rally this morning in the city.  We are supposed to meet up at the same place we had the membership meeting on Wednesday (for your benefit across from Woolsey Hall) but my ankles have not been cooperating very well so I am bailing.  However I did make an effort to change the ankles from hurting.  NO I didn’t go to Dr. yet but that is still an option I did get new laces for the walking shoes so I can use them more.  Unfortunately didn’t’ get the right length.  I stopped at the pharmacy on the way home as they had laces for sports shoes.  They had either 36 or 48 I should have gotten the 48.

I am also beginning to think the Ryki walking shoes were the wrong size because they don’t feel as though they really fit comfortably.  Maybe I just have to keep trying.  I don’t think I can wear socks with them.

I finally called Bill S to come look at the shower handle.  He said he could come at 9 but we changed it to I would call him when I got back from the rally.  He doesn’t have to know I did not go.  It will give me some time to straighten up a little. (I have clothes in the laundry area.) Oh he should be here sometime after lunch.

The rest of the week went without too much incident.  The mail delivery didn’t come until very late Thursday but GA took care of that when she came back Friday.  I was going to until she told me she already called.  She did let me call the courier to remind them there is 1 pm mail pick up.

It looks like Chris and Jen will be welcoming a baby girl come April.  They had a reveal party via facetime and had a cupcake with pink frosting in it.  Can’t wait for the list of names to start.

I went to use my new debit card and I used my old pin number it didn’t work.  I don’t know why I didn’t think of that but when I got home my new pin number arrived.  A lot of good that did me.  I was so not thinking straight yesterday.

I had a very weird headache last night it was from the back of the head to the front.  I ended up going to bed early.  The cats followed.  It eventually went away and I feel better this morning.

The cats have been behaving better since earlier in the week.  Ever since Wednesday they had been chasing and wrestling with each other.  To the point where I had to throw them out of my room one night because they were fighting each other on the bed near my legs.  Of course they came back an hour later and fell asleep.  If am right sky is up on the bed where I left him.  We were looking for Tiger who was out back sunning herself.  I would imagine or guess that shortly she will head up to the bed and sleep for a couple of hours.

I did make some calls regarding thanksgiving.  The inn in Norwalk isn’t open for Thanksgiving (or the restaurant isn’t) and I Have been trying to call Kimberly Restaurant that was supposed to open this week.  At Liz’s suggestion I am going to talk to Jim about options.  I am considering getting take out from Shop Rite or going to Clinton (either the Log Cabin or any other inns that may be there).  I was supposed to call him yesterday but the headache stopped that.

I talked with Mama R yesterday.  They are fine.  So is Miriam.  She lives in Colorado where the shooting at Wal*mart took place.  She didn’t hear anything.  Mama Roberta and I talked about our friends Dan & Diane (yes that’s their names) and yes I think of that song all that time.  They are taking a trip to California and then to Hawaii.  WE both hoped that Dan won’t get sick as he has in the past.  He is apparently not the best plane traveler.

The sun is shining and it’s a bit chilly this morning but its supposed to get up to the high 60’s and 70’s (it was that warm yesterday) and do I need to mention its November.  We may get some rain on Sunday.  I won’t mind if we get it today either.

Tomorrow is Jim’s birthday.  I just called him to sing and discuss Thanksgiving options and but all I got was his voicemail.  To be honest it is only early morning.

Well I better move along as I have some things to take care of…have a great one.
