Dear Friends:
Its late in the day. Mom left for mass about half an hour ago but not before making a comment about being “plunked down in front of the TV”. Of course that didn’t sit well with me but when does it ever. I have been trying to stay away from the TV so I spent part of it trying to update files and stuff and adding to the journal folders here.
In my effort to find AT&T emails I did a search in one of my inboxes for the word phone. Well I got a few of them that had to with lots of different themes but not what I wanted. I Have to check my yahoo account as well. There was a FYI posts from a member on the Lupies list back in June letting members know that the poster is having limited access because of a fire in their mobile home park.
There was a really interesting blog entry about phones and conversations from a blog I follow on WordPress.com so I saved it. Only because it interested me. Now it is gone from the server I think.
We had a nice dinner this evening. Squash from M&T who stopped by earlier today before they headed to their office and Mom made stuffed peppers, pirogues and broiled mushrooms with garlic. The kitchen is cleared and I am listening to a Colorado Public radio station hoping to find out updates on the flooding out there.
Mom is planning on going to bed soon as she has to be up very early for the Folks on Spokes event in town. I am going to help her get up in the morning. I have to get her up by 6.
I think I am going to go to bed myself. Have a great night.
