I didn't realize I had pics going back to the beginning of the year on my camera's memory card(the delete button's broke, so I try to empty it often, but somehow I'd missed it). I've got stuff from NYE in there(nothing fun-just some pretty trees in the snow). I'll try to work on that tonight after I do some laundry and take a long shower/shave(my shoulders/neck are still stiff from cleaning the bathroom walls Monday and sleeping wrong on them the last 2 nights-the shower will have to do until I can get someone to rub them for me, but by then they'll be healed anyway).
Anyway-lots to do with those photos-there's not just NYE in there either! There's also the ice sculpture in Millennium.. ..Park.... from February I took mom to, some Looptopia, an Easter one of me in bunny ears(don't ask), um……Eddie Izzard!!! Then I also have pics from Flashback this last weekend-not many, but a few(one of me with a zombie dude). There's tons of Eddie pics-my delete button is broken, so I just kept shooting like crazy(shoot first, ask questions later). We didn't know how long he'd be out there with all of us answering questions, and since we weren't going to get to individually meet him, I took lots(plus he's easy on the eyes, so this was not a chore).
I'd start work on the spare room, but honestly, what use do I have for it? It has the cat box in it, so I really don't want anyone to sleep in there. I think I'll just keep it as storage. I do have a nice chair in there someplace under a pile of boxes and stuff. There's a huge book shelf in there too-I should put the books from along the radiator in there. I know I have a lot of books(some would say too many, but there is no such thing!). Moving is a bitch because they're so heavy. It doesn't help that my desk is made of steel. I'll probably have to hire movers-no one's ever going to help me now. Not that I have anyplace to move to anyway, but I'd like to start actively/aggressively searching for one in September. Maybe. We'll see. Knowing my luck I'd move closer to my friends that have been suggesting this for months now and then they'll decide they're bored with/sick of me and I'll be home alone as often as I am now. Like I said……we'll see.
One more day of getting up at 5am, and I'm off for 3 days! No idea what I'm going to do with those 3 days, but I am going to be sleeping late all 3 of them(so far). Maybe I'll just clean the kitchen walls and spare room. That's probably what I'll end up doing. That's ok, I blew all my money at Flashback anyway. Then again, interesting things have happened to me the last several 4th of Julys.
I added "Superhigh Me" to my Netflix yesterday, so maybe I'll get it Saturday. I have wayyyyyy too much on my rental list. I couldn't decide what to bump up-there's still a 'long wait' for "Six String Samurai"(it better be as good as I recall it being). Anyway-Doug Benson's hilarious-can't wait to see it(and have movie night with this one-everyone better bring snacks!!!!). I still have "Highway 61" and "Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter" in case anyone comes over and wants to see those. Highway 61 has been a fave of mine for years and years.
I worked so far ahead today that I'll likely be bored tomorrow unless I get a bunch of walk-in patients(which is likely because of the holiday). I only had a total of 3 patients today for the entire 8 hours the office was open! I think I'm going to post my resume again on monster.com and see what happens this time. I need something a bit more challenging and creative(maybe where my coworkers aren't 30 yrs older than me?). I'm just tired of seeing naked old people really. I'm tired of dirty old men in gowns flapping open trying to grope me or when they try to be all smooth but really its just creepy. I hate coming home from work feeling dirty/grossed out like that. I know they're just excited that a woman under the age of 60 has her hands on them, but………ick. You think women's breasts droop when you're old? HA! Go look some elderly testicles and call me back. Go on……….(I'll be here with my big bag of I-told-you-sos)
OK-one instance in which I did have a car-I just got an email here at work that says someone has a free leather sectional sofa in navy blue that is free if you pick it up. Frick!!!!!!!!!!!!! *dammit*
