This morning I had 3 hours of machine shop training. The milling machine is my definite fav so far.

So in between classes I came to lab to check up on the world and find this article on babies with 3 parents, a practice that is evidently already banned in America and the UK. Why is that? If we can have in-vitro fertilization, donor eggs, ( Read more... )

so fascinating! i heard one of the major reasons it is not being allowed to be conducted by the FDA is simplpy that they haven't been asked. however if they were to be asked they would probably need more studies regarding it's safety on humans as well as succesful studies in rats and monkeys first. none of the procedure's i have heard of carried to term though the pregnancy took.

i'll definately be following the story.

You really think you should be able to dictate the sex of your theoretical future baby? Why? I can't understand that.
