This morning I had 3 hours of machine shop training. The milling machine is my definite fav so far.
So in between classes I came to lab to check up on the world and find
this article on babies with 3 parents, a practice that is evidently already banned in America and the UK. Why is that? If we can have in-vitro fertilization, donor eggs, surrogate mothers, etc already, what is wrong with using egg minus dna from one woman and dna from another? Seems like the next step to me. But then again I think I should be able to dictate the sex of my theoretical future baby. Help me out here.
