Just to answer some queries, on both xanga and lj, 9/11 was an intolerance of Christainity. You can disagree with me, and remember, this IS AN OPINION. I give you wholly the right to disagree, but don't you dare criticize me, you asked for it. The wars between Muslims and Christian have been going on for centuries (where the hell is your guys's history? and my grammmar....). Christians, Muslims and Jews (as a whole, I realize and acknowledge that there are many of my friends who practice these religions) have been struggeling for power for centuries. Christians at first had the upper hand, begining in Europe and taking advantage of trade and a sort of dictator like power. The Christians emerged in the religion race with a head start, they had already discovered tortue and tyranny; they were already fighting among themselves for power (the protestents and catholics, a war which continues today in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland). The Muslims were, along with the Jews, a wholly peaceful race. During what was the Middle-Ages (I believe) in the Middle East, the Muslims held enormous power (reaching all the way to Spain and at times threatening England). They held many settlements that held a large Jewish and Christian population. These people were not forced, or barely even encouraged to convert, they were merely charged with higher taxes (please people, consider the time and level of intolerence: this equvilent to complete tolerance). If you think that the Crusades were about the grail you are wrong, they were about Christain power. And so the struggle continues today; except that now have emerged a group of "muslim" extremeist who have found a use for our own grotesque technology and ways to manipulate what seems to be harmless technology to cause harm. It's not about money, get your heads out of the sand you stupid Davisites. Bin Laden is ROYALTY. He has no need for money. It's about the belief that all white people are Christains; and that any other non-white American is cooperating with the Christains and therefore must die. In my opinion, all forms of religions are cults. You are taught in school, that Christainity is the MAIN religion. Slowly, as you become older, the condition you to the other religions and you learn to respect their presence. But because of the introduction to Christainity before the others, children look upon them as lowly. If religion were practised as it was preached (a very general approach, if one were to read between the lines holy books tend to contain some rather unnerving things) the world would be perfect. But it's not, somehow we as people find a way to distort it and use it for our own personal gain and salvation. Don't pray for me. Don't you dare pray for me. You pray for people because you're taught in your religion that the road to salvation and heaven is through caring, through caring for other people, be they strangers or familiars. Don't pray for me for your own redemption, don't pray for me to prevent your own eminse guilt should something actually happen to me. Don't pray for me for you. If you can figure out any other way to pray for me, tell me, because even I can't figure it out.
BTW this all my opinion, and you asked for it. So no bitching.
