I felt the same about Mad Men at first. It's easy to appreciate how beautifully done it is for the first few eps and not get totally into it, but by the end of the first season, I was definitely hooked. K, if you're looking for a new station, try the Sound at 100.3. They play a lot of the songs you don't hear anymore from our childhoods and teenage years, and even college for those of us old enough. I'm not fond of their "block" programming they seem to be adding more of though-- I don't need that much 70's music in a row-- I can find that elsewhere on the dial!
Oh, and I too got on the Mad Men bandwagon recently-- I bought the Blu Ray set of season 1 for $15. Nothing like a YoSafBridge in high def.
...I have a crush on Peggy.
