Today's one of those days when I slap a bunch of random thoughts together and put them on the internet because obviously everyone in cyberspace is hanging on my every word!
So. As a most excellent coda to my entry yesterday, about Ben Silverman being a dickwad, I find this out:
The Picketers are having a prom!! They're picketing outside NBC dressed in prom attire! If this weren't from 11am to 2pm on a workday I would be there in an instant!
And, as another most excellent coda to my other entry yesterday, about Jon Stewart being taken painfully out of context, IMDB (or Lew Irwin, who edits the news) has published a retraction. Sorta.
It's the very last news item, cleverly hidden so no one will see it. He acknowledges taking it out of context, and (!!!) admits to basing his report off of comments to blogs about the event. If that's not crack journalism, I don't know what is.
Finally, Lisa Klink answered my question! Yay! She had a most excellent blog entry up late last week about spec scripts, and she gave some very useful advice. I commented with the "age old question" - spec something "hot" that you don't care about, or spec something you love that doesn't exactly have stellar ratings. And she answered me. So go read it!
And my One Hour Drama class started today, though we're just at the "Hi, my name is...." stage. I'm psyched.
