Last night my dream of six years in the making came true - I saw The Lucksmiths live! I seriously thought I'd have to vacation in Melbourne to actually see them, but they kicked off their US tour with a stop in Los Angeles. Guess where they're going to be tonight? Santa Barbara. Guess who's driving up for the day so I can see them again? Me!!
I promise a real update tomorrow, with observations and what little of the set list I can remember.
In other music news, guess who's playing LA Oct. 25th? If you answered Gogol Bordello, you'd be correct. If you answered Josh Ritter...you'd also be correct. *sigh* Why, oh why, do they make me choose???? Unfortunately, since I've seen Gogol Bordello twice and Josh only once, I'm going to have to go with Josh. Sorry Amy!!!!!
