Five Questions:
1) What is your favorite RPG character you've played? Favorite? Well I might have to go with my Ronin character for L5R larp. That character was a lot of fun to play because she was so oddball :P Being local magistrate was fun. I like a lot my characters. It usually depends on how fun the game is and if Im allowed to play the character the way I want. Like my dwarf being allowed to spend ~5 games doing nothing but building a house and 8 ft tall stone fence :D
2) Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Living in France!!! ::sigh :: Really I suppose in 10 years I'll be 36, Id like to have a masters degree, be out of debt (with a savings even!), and working my way up the Chemist career ladder at my current work. In 10 years I would have reached the max 401k matching... 12%! That would be awesome to be 36 and have 24% going into the 401k... wow Im so lame getting excited about a 401k :P Id also like to have traveled more. It would be nice to be married with a kid by then but that kind of thing usually depends on other people so Im not counting on it :D
3) How do you manage to get along well with so many disparate groups? People just love me? I have no idea how I get along with so many different people. I guess I'm flexible :: shrug :: People only tend to bother me when I feel they are bothering others or when I feel they are being exceptionally dumb about something1. The latter having more to do with my intellectual elitist side I suppose.
4) Where is your next number one travel destination? Probably Bhutan. It just looks super neat. Wikipedia says: "Bhutan is one of the most isolated and least developed nations in the world. Nonetheless, survey data from the country suggest it is also one of the happiest." The king is actually turning the country into a democracy. If you have Netflix and want to watch a neat movie filmed there (beautiful scenery - great little story) its called
Travelers and Magicians (2003) I highly recommend it.
5) What did you think of this version of Jane Eyre?2 As this was the first full version of Jane Eyre I've seen I cant say much on that front. I did really really like it and cried a lot :) I recall catching part of one version my sister and mom were watching one day (They really love Jane Eyre apparently and I had no idea) and in that one the Mr. Rochester looked SO OLD in comparison to Jane that the love part looked creepy. Probably why I never gave it an honest chance until now :D
[Edit: 1. Also my mother bothers me, but that doesn't count.
2. She refers to
this version that she lent me]
Now the second part: if you are willing to be interviewed (five questions) just comment and say so and I will cheerfully interrogate you. Then you post the answers and the same offer in your journal.
