So... the testing center called my house today, and apparently they mis-scored my test, and I actually got 34.6% higher than they had originally indicated. Yes, this is significant (and yes, that score was that bad). After test corrections, my score will most likely rest in the high 80's. :) I am ecstatic.
However, it is interesting to see how little faith I really did have in how I had performed on the test. I really was shocked to see such a low score, but within 24 hours, I had convinced myself that I really had earned it, and I had envisioned all of the ways in which I could have made enough mistakes to merit such a score. My confidence had been pretty well shattered. :( Mainly because if I'd been putting out that much effort for such a poor result, I didn't see any way I was going to pass this class.
I feel much better, now.
