Title: Only a shuddering breath
Summary: Slade doesn't like being pinned.

"Wilson! Where... ?"

He'd been expecting Wonder Woman to be harder to beat.

She's tough, sure, but this is *easy*.

He stifles the disappointment and drops, landing a kick to her pretty face. It probably won't break anything. And it isn't like he much cares if it *does*.

But she's more than strong, she's smart, and she's *good*, and this pin is a damn effective one.

Trying to twist doesn't do him any good, and she's about to break his arm if she presses any harder -- at this point he might welcome that just as a *distraction*, because he's losing the feel of the snow crunching under him. He can't move, and Wonder Woman panting in his ear could just as easily be himself trying not to fight restraints, shutting his eyes as he's pumped full of drugs.

"Get *off* of me," he snarls, and dislocates his shoulder when he punches her, but he's free and he can move and that's all that matters.
