Familial duties are tiring. Necessary, but tiring.
I want to sleep til Wednesday. Frack, have to work tomorrow, dammit. Fine. Work, then straight back home to sleep til Wednesday. Don't nobody freaking disturb me. >:|

I had fun on Saturday guys; thanks again for all the presents. Toushi [Shiro & Von] (lil devil says hi, btw); Ordinary Crush vol. 1 [Von]; Baby Taz seatbelt pads [Shiro]; The Man Who Doesn't Take Off His Clothes novel vol. 2, a glass teddy charm-thingy, & last but not least, the Gintama 2008 calendar [Sits]!! And that's not even counting the presents I got from other people. Hmm, I need a jewellery box... *makes a note to look around much later*
EB & SIL are gonna take me shopping for my dinner dress next weekend. Good, I'll have someone to tell me what looks good on me. I've gotten way better at color coordination & selection for office wear, but when it comes to traditional wear, I still suck. But I think I'm a lil bit better than I was, say, last year. I think with neutrals, plains & stripes, there's really not much you can go wrong with; it's the patterned stuff that gives me headaches. (I do know that I don't like beadwork. Embroidery's more my style, simple or elaborate.) Going through my closet had me rediscovering two things: I apparently have quite a number of really nice baju kurung & kebaya from a few years ago, and back then I was two-thirds the size I am today! Waaaaaahhhh!!! *looks regretfully at all the now too small clothes littering closet*
Ah well, carbs keep me calm & happy & not killing people (although some are just begging for it, the asses) & therefore am not in jail. Therapy, my foot. Not everything has to be complicated, y'know?
Ooh, it's past midnight now & we're starting the last day of 2007. I'm not the kind to make resolutions - why wait if you wanna do something or change your life for the better - but I wish y'all the best of luck in achieving yours. (And yo, guzu, I stand corrected. By dawn today, it'll be 100% completion rate. 105 eps, finished, in approximately six months. A long road, but a fun one, heh. Go, me! :P )
