Hi all.
Well it seems that now I have at least one friend in all of South Carolina that isn't a ranting religous zealot. We've been talking on and off on the phone and it's good to know there is someone who is willing to listen to me and accepts me as I am. I wish I could find some way to ask my parents about going to the AFFIRM meetings but it's a rather difficult subject for me to voice with my parents. I still don't trust my dad about it and my mom is in a constant state of denial. At least now I don't have to go it alone.
Well Pope John Paul II died. Sad to see him go, he was in some ways a great guy. He was against anti-Semitism and visited mosques in a successful attempt at trying to build bridges rather than walls between the various religions. Sure he had a lot of conservative views but he did a lot of good for the world. Well it seems that acording to the rules that any baptised Roman Catholic male can be Pope. Since I read that I've been waiting by the phone eagerly awaiting the call that the Conclave has chosen me. Lol, at any rate I hope the next pope is a bit more left wing but thats unlikely.
