(no subject)
It has been a week of surprises.
Main surprise.... I was scheduled to get LASIK tomorrow, but received a call from TLC this week stating (from the receptionist, no less) that they did not believe my prescription was stable, and they would like to wait six months and then reevalate. While I hold a lot of appreciation for the conservative approach, I wish I would have known that December 7th when I left my eye exam instead of February 2nd when they finally decided to show the surgeon the results of the eye exam. Well, now I am left with a weekend of cancelled plans and $4500 left in my flex with only six weeks to spend it. Basically I will be getting a lot of sleeping pills, anti-anxiety meds, and acne medicaton, a few acupuncture and chiropractor sessions, and possibly a consult with a naturalist. I will also be buying a lot of tylenol to onate to Haiti.
Secondary surprises... Ross started calling me "the future Mrs. Ericksen" and basically everything he says these days is charming and makes me totally blush. We got a new team member at work, so John came on and Alex and Jen left. Gain one. Lose two. Not the best scenario. Found out my schedule for regional training, so I'll be traveling to three states per week for a few minutes - crazy! I will wake up and so not even know where I am. I am mad crazy about this wonderful red nose pit in our rescue and I wish wish wish she liked my cat and that I had my own nest and that I didn't travel, so I could have her here all the time. There are numerous other way more significant surprises, but you'll find out when you find out.

( ) 4. Buy and program an iPod **50% there -- downloaded itunes**
( ) 5. Climb a mountain
(X) 6. Switch to an iPhone or Blackberry **done - totally an iphone girl now! anyone know any cool apps?**
( ) 7. Get my project management certification **50% there -- applied for the prep course**
( ) 8. Start on my private pilot license
( ) 9. Attend a Toastmasters meeting
( ) 10. Take a functional role at Accenture
(X) 11. Plan a vacation with my Mom **househunting in South Carolina in January**
( ) 12. Dress up for and attend the Rocky Horror Picture Show
( ) 13. Go to the zoo this summer
(X) 14. Ice Skate this winter **going with Ross on Saturday))
( ) 15. Do a corn maze this fall
( ) 16. See Suze Orman speak live
(X) 17. Have another foster dog or cat **done - thank you Zuma, coolest pitbull ever!**
( ) 18. Get my legs waxed OR get laser hair removal
( ) 19. Buy furniture (and hopefully find an apartment/condo/house)
(X) 20. Plan Marian 5 year high school reunion **done - happened over Thanksgiving at Blackfinn!!**
( ) 21. Throw a 24th Birthday Party (preferably at the beach)
( ) 22. Get promoted to Consultant level
( ) 23. Take a bread baking class, flower arranging, gardening, or photography class
( ) 24. Go to Bermuda
