Poem I
A/N: I'd like you take a deep breath when you read this and remember something for me. Remember that although life may seem a little shitty, and you've pushed your sister away, and it seems like the world is coming to an end and there's no way to save yourself from falling off the earth -- remember that it's going to get better. Remember that even though all this stuff is happening, that person you pushed away is still one of the most important things in your life and that you never truly meant to hurt her. Remember that this is hurting you almost as much as it probably is hurting them. And please remember -- never give up. It doesn't matter what's happening in life, never forget.
The only opening is water.
The only solid matter is a million miles away.
It seems like a galaxy.
There’s no easy way to say
How I feel.
Misunderstandings. Pain and mistakes.
No one seems to realize that what it takes
From me
Is more than anyone can see.
The bonds were strong
But sometimes it’s best to take a break,
Especially when it’s your best friend
Who’s neck you want to break
In two.
Tears are shed and rest is taken.
The worst is past and a new dawn is breakin’
But the one thing I want most
Is in the past, a kind of ghost
In comparison to what we were.
Resurrection, a new intelligent light.
It seems a friendship is about to take flight
But the scariest part is the unknown
Because the friendship has flown
Away before your eyes.
There’s nothing more to do, girl,
You’ve got to let it run its course.
Maybe all you had to do was light a torch
And let the light shine over the worst
Like I did
When it happened to me.
