The “You Have Made My Life Worth All of the Shit I Go Through Each Day” Awards

I stole this from bassair and skullgirl013. It touched my heart, because they both talked about me. And I’d like to share some nice stuffs too.

Like bassair’s, it’s not in any order.

Except for the first person.

bassair.

Oh, my, this girl … Makes me cry, actually. But not as you would think. These are tears of joy, tears of wonder, and tears of strength. She’s a sweetheart, and the center of my world, I swear. Without her standing there next to me, I don’t think my life would be how it is. I met her a year and three months ago, on the OWL forums. She actually said something quite funny about that, something along the lines of “I assumed you’d send me your fic, I’d read through it and mark the errors, and send it back, and then we’d not talk again until the next one you needed me to read through.”

Yeah, so did I. But, alas, that’s not how it works with me. Once you prove to me you’re honest and true, you’ve got a new friend. And this girl not only proved that to me, but she captured my heart. If I didn’t have bassair, I don’t think I could get through the day to day of my asshole father and self image issues and boyless rambles. And that’s why I will never let her go, not until the end of time. “The 21st Century is when it all changes,” and that’s when my life got turned around.

skullgirl013.

Ahaha. I could write a book. I really could, and I should. Of course, bassair’s would be relatively longer because I’ve known her for more time, but … onward, march.

Now, I need you to understand something. I’m seventeen. For someone a bit younger than me to know exactly what I mean when I say something, or for their mind to hit the gutter before mine does, is really saying something, because even when a friend says something completely clean generally speaking, my brain works in mysterious ways. It can find something dirty about the word “ink.” I swear, give me enough time and I will.

I think the reason she catches on is because of my innuendo. But. That’s a different story. Bravo, skullgirl013, for being an amazing, sparkling girl.

Noel.

You don’t know her, but I do. She’s absolutely incredible. She’s my best friend of my school, and as we’re writing a story together … Yeah.

By the way, you may want to check that out. Hers is called Teenage Ramblings, I do believe, unless she changed the title with the rewrite. I don’t recall. Anyway, you’ll find her. streudelheadrose, I think her name is.

We’re writing m/m slash together for a few chapters of this. Shall be fun. (By the way, look for smut that’ll be coming afterward. You can’t have Matt and Alex without smut. Trust me. Even if it won’t be in the original, I’ll give you the Director’s Cut).

I love you, Noel!

My Fans.

Honestly, if I didn’t have any fans, like what happens to me on ff.net or fp.com, I think I would stop writing completely. Or at least posting. And that would be bad. VERY bad.

That being said, I love all of you. Thank you for your unending support. Keep watching for, how put_that_away stated it, “Purple shirt in fic form? *waits patiently*” Or something of the like.

Like I said, keep watching and keep up the lovely work so I can continue.

Love, Kat
