I am just that big of a geek. Even when I'm not slashing Watson/Druitt, I can't ignore the emotional pull of the idea that Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper were best friends until Druitt's betrayal. There's so much mutual pain (and mutual shame) there, but still forgiveness (thus this pic instead of them playing grabsies and having eye-sex in the labyrinth). And Will, sitting there looking like his head's about to explode from the awesome (that is so me when I saw those two in action -- and that was well before I realized there was subtext there). To quote Will "Man, I am seriously geeking out right now..."
