My first night went pretty well. Zero sales and such a strong emphasis on Customer Service that bonuses are based on your ratings in Courtesy and Concern rather than on your call volume. They place a huge emphasis on continuing ed and filling upper-level positions from within. I think I'm really going to like it there and, as an added bonus, I asked around and I might be able to find an apartment in the area for under $500 a month. Assuming I survive the admittedly-rigorous training period (2 solid months), I think I just found a job I'm actually capable of tolerating :)
On a slightly less cheery note, I had a dissociative episode on the drive home. At least I didn't end up in another state this time...
