Sorry for the complete radio silence for like 2 weeks now. RL has been... interesting. Not to worry, however. I've mostly just been tired and busy (and in ridiculous amounts of pain but whatever). I'll start with the less fun updates and then get into happy territory. (omg, she has happy things to say for a change. it's a New Year's miracle!!!)

Bones, meh, I really didn't pay attention to last nights ep because frankly there wasn't enough Angela/Hodgins in it and right now, since they're keeping (the writers & Hart that is) word about keeping them together they're my main goal in watching lately. I'm sick of the "will they/won't they" (aka the writers are a bunch of fucking chickens) crap they've been dragging out for 6 years now. The S4 ender POS does not count cause it wasn't real or really them. Coma dream as pretty as it was, was NOT what this fan wanted or needed in the Bones/Booth department. Not at all.
Dude...I got to see BNL sing TBBT theme song LIVE back in July 2010 at SDCC. IT WAS AAAAWWWEEESSSSOOOOMMMMEEEE!!!!
OMG the talk at the conference when Sheldon was trying to get everyone to actually talk about their topics and not their sex lives (or lack there of for some of them) was so damn funny! LOL Have I mentioned how much I'm LOVING MAYIM as AMY FARRAH FOWLER? OMG..."Bestie" and "Don't touch my breasts" when Penny was trying to hug her. LOL She really is the female Sheldon and it SO FUCKING ROCKS!
YAY for Sanctuary S4 pick up. :D I'm not upset about the 13 ep season. I figure the cost of using the Red cameras and all the green screen work is what's causing this. That shit is not cheap.

Amy's just amazing and I'm loving Mayim, too. She's so much fun. a more likable female Sheldon, no less *pets her* So freaking awesome!!! Girl geeks are finally getting their day in the sun. I hope she's on forever :) I also loved "We saw no reason to jeopardize our relationship by getting to know each other better."
13 eps isn't terrible. it's not a cheap show to make and I know 4 will be epic at 13 eps. still better than a BBC-length season
speaking of, is it just me or would the US Being Human be halfway decent if it weren't so ungodly awful? (and, you know, not an utter rip-off...)

The writers just need to stop being so fucking chicken shit. If they think getting them together will kill the show...what do they think is happening with this 6 years of "will they/won't they"? Most of the people I know who watch it, are fed up with this crap.

I couldn't tell you if the US Being Human was godawful or not since I didn't watch it. The US "Annie" is a blatant rip off of Lenora and it pisses me off. I mean, hellfuckingo, she's wearing the same fucking outfit. Lame.

the problem is that the writers introduced Hannah and she's this sweet, wonderful woman who will have to be killed (or turn out to secretly be ebil) to be completely removed as an obstacle and, the second they kill her (or make her ebil), any subsequent relationship between Booth and Brennan is going to seem as forced and contrived as the six year NOT-relationship did. They've written themselves into a corner with their cowardice and idiocy

the US ghost girl isn't even substantial to the guys in this version, which is kind of not much of an issue given how much else is wrong with it. their "George" is this sarcastic, bitter almost-emo which the actor actually makes WORK, but it falls flat as a BH adaptation. if i were seeing the show as an original, i might almost like it, to be honest (especially since, as an adaptation, it's kind of hemmed in to begin with). there's some decent talent there, but it's wasted on a shit imitation
also, as i've said of the original BH, no way in hell would vampires waste that much blood when feeding.

I doubt they kill Hannah. I think what will happen is that she'll finally realize that Booth does love Bones and she was just the "rebound" and leave. Which would work for me. I doubt they'll make her ebil because they've not hinted at that (kinda like they never, EVER hinted that Zach was "ebil in training" but then BAM! he was) and I doubt the fans would fall for or even like them pulling that schtick again. I think the best way they can deal with Hannah is to have her realize that Booth really isn't the guy for her because he does truly deep down love Bones and she doesn't want to keep them a part any further.
I have no interest in the US version of BH.

i don't want her to be ebil and would be pissed if they pulled that shit AGAIN (especially considering that they never even explored Zack's PTSD like they meant to thanks to the writer's strike -- i didn't want blatant hints, but it felt like such an afterthought to me *shrugs*) ... I just think Booth's happy with her and she's happy with him and Parker approves so it's kind of going to seem awkward to extricate them. will have to see *shrug*

Hannah is okay. I don't like that they brought her in to make the "will they/won't they" thing keep going. I don't want her dead. I'd rather they kill Daisy off quite frankly. Daisy needs to die. Sweets deserves someone so much better. LOL Parker adores Bones though too so I think he'd survive if Hannah left (preferably alive thank you).
I don't expect I am.

i don't want Hannah dead, either. I like her. Daisy on the other hand continues to be annoying and needs to go (although it'd be hard on Sweets)
