AN: I got a little bit bored so I started rolling dice to decide some prompts. This is what I was given. Almost all of them are in random universe that I just made up, some of which were very intriging to me. The song that I rolled that helped inspire each one is linked in the title for your listening while reading pleasure. I hope you enjoy these and let me know what you think!

Live Like There is No Tomorrow
Minho/Jonghyun; PG

“This is suicide. You know that, right?” Jonghyun asked as his fingers expertly manipulated the control panel in front of him.

“Yes,” Minho answered shortly, not looking up from the screen he was inputting codes into.

“We probably won’t even survive the reentry,” Jonghyun continued, just to hear his own voice. “And if our ship somehow doesn’t break apart, then we will likely be gunned down before we can even hope to ram them, let alone dock with them. Then, if by some miracle we survive all of that, they will probably kill us as we are trying to board their ship and launch our rescue.”

“We owe it to Onew,” Minho replied in clipped tones.

“Oh, I know that,” Jonghyun agreed, depressing a lever and then moving to the other control panel to flip a series of switches in a specific pattern. His fingers knew the motions well, making it not enough to distract him from his thoughts. “I didn’t say we didn’t owe him and we promised the kid we would go and get him. I’m just telling you that we will probably die before we get close. That’s all. I’m not against death. I mean, hell, I didn’t expect to live through half of the crazy shit we have done, but here we are. I guess if I have to go, then there is no better way than guns blazing.”

A hand fell, firm on his shoulder, and forced his body to turn from what he was doing. He lifted his fingers from the control panel just in time to keep from horribly screwing something up, killing themselves before they even launched would be horribly anticlimactic after all. Scowling, Jonghyun was about to protest when a mouth descended firmly over his.

Minho’s kiss wasn’t gentle, but spoke of passion both shared, and to come. It made heat curl all the way to Jonghyun’s toes and when the younger man pulled away, Jonghyun remembered why he would follow him anywhere.

“Well, then,” he said with a lopsided grin. “Let’s launch this doomed rescue mission.”

Colors of the Wind
Heechul/Kyuhyun; PG

“Trust me,” Heechul hissed as he tugged Kyuhyun up the hill with him.

“That phrase is going to get us into all sorts of trouble. Lights Out was an hour ago,” he reminded the other man, gesturing to the wide expanse of darkness around them. If it wasn’t for the small glowing object in Heechul’s hand that they were all allowed to keep by their bedside, there would be no light to even see each other by.

“I know, but there is something I have to show you,” Heechul replied.

Kyuhyun could feel the incline beneath his feet, the sold tap of his shoes as Heechul tugged him forward. Even during the Light, he never came this far from his home, in fact, no one did. They weren’t supposed to wander this far out. It had been years since anyone had, but he and others his age imagined that something horrible would have happened if they tried.

“We’re here,” Heechul told him a few moments later. “Look up.” Obediently Kyuhyun tilted his head upwards and observed the pure black that always covered the outside after Lights Out. It was one of the reasons that no one ever bothered to go out after Lights Out besides the fact that it was strongly discouraged.

“Keep watching,” Heechul told him and Kyuhyun was about to ask what for when hands shoved him firmly from behind. He stumbled forward and something brushed against his skin. It seemed to tingle and move across his body as Heechul pushed him forward and then the sensation was gone.

A small gasp left Kyuhyun’s mouth as the tingles retreated, taking with them the darkness. Above his head small points of light were sparkling. His hair stirred, unbidden by him, caused by an unseen force so like the fans in the gym where he worked out, yet clean and fresh. “Heechul,” he murmured in wonder, taking in the new sensations. It was still dark, dim and hard to see, but it was far from the black he was used to.

“Beautiful, aren’t they,” Heechul murmured softly. “They’re called stars.”

“They are,” was all Kyuhyun could find words to say, and they stood, with Heechul’s arms around his waist, watching the stars twinkle in the night sky for the first time in their lives.

Out Tonight
Key/Junsu; PG

He glanced around fervently, hoping that the shadows didn’t hold unknown spies as they crept silently through the Institute. “This is such a bad idea, Key,” he hissed.

“Then don’t come,” Key snapped back, “and don’t forget this was your idea in the first place.”

“I said we should go do something,” Junsu whispered harshly, “not that we should break curfew and escape.”

“My Cloistering starts tomorrow and I’m going to take one last night of fun while I can have it,” Key replied.

Junsu glanced over his shoulder just to be certain no one was following them. “Why don’t you take Jonghyun?”

He could just imagine Key giving him a look expressing that he was clueless. “Jonghyun thinks I should be purifying my mind and body for the Cloistering tomorrow. I’ll have a full Turn to purify myself, thank you very much. I would much rather go out and get dirty.” Junsu could imagine the smirk turning up the corner of Key’s mouth.

“So you choose me to come with you?”

“It was your idea,” Key replied with a shrug. The door slid open soundlessly beneath Key’s talented hands and a single whistled note locked it back the way they had found it. They drew their cloaks closer to their bodies as they slipped through the shadows, passing the barn with the horses and slipping through the brush on the edge of the Institute’s land instead of down the well paved path.

Junsu, having been there a full five years longer than Key, knew his way around the city much better than the other young man, but that didn’t seem to dissuade Key. The young man hurried on ahead, walking with purpose through the narrow backstreets that spun through the massive town the Institute was placed at the edge of. Only after Key lead him through several twisting turns and pathways, did he realize where they were going.

Sure enough he could feel the sizzle of magic before they even entered the building and Junsu sighed, “Here, Key? This isn’t safe.”

“Sure it is.” This time he saw the young man’s smirk as he turned and grinned back at him.

Junsu sighed, unable to argue with the other young man. He couldn’t deny that he had always wanted to see the place that allowed music to stream through it without the proper control or outlet. He had heard that, although it was never performed by someone with Power, there was always the faint tingle of magic in the air.

They neared the door and a pair of well built men leaned on either side and offered them mildly amused looks. “Come for a night out, Songsters?” one of the men asked grinning.

“Something like that,” Key replied, offering them a wink.

“Your kind is always welcome here,” the other man replied, smirking and gesturing them inside. “Just don’t ask for it if you don’t really want it,” he told them cryptically. Junsu offered him a strange look and Key laughed as he strode boldly through the door.

Inside the large building, Junsu could see the masses of people moving to the sound of the music. It was something he had never seen before and he froze in the doorway, watching the mass of people moving without the intricate patterns he had always known.

“You look rather ridiculous with your jaw hanging open,” Key told him, laughing.

“But, they,” he said gesturing and unable to complete his sentence.

“Yeah I know,” Key agreed. “Great, isn’t it? They dance because they enjoy it, not because they are trying to bend and control the forces of nature.”

“That is dangerous,” Junsu told him, tasting the taint of wild, uncontrolled magic in the air.

“That is the best part of it,” Key agreed. Beside him the younger man pulled off his cloak and held it in his hands as he whistled a set of four notes. The moment the last one finished, the cloak disappeared from his hold, sent into his personal place of storage.

Following his lead, Junsu pulled off his own, and did the same. Typically when he worked magic and used his voice to control the forces as he had been taught, he felt the tiniest strain on him, the pull of his personal power, but in this place he didn’t feel the slightest thing. Astonished he looked towards Key and found the young Songster watching him with a grin on his face.

“I wouldn’t try anything more than that while you are here. The power of this place could let us do all sorts of things,” Key told him. Junsu imagined that the building held the power to do some very dangerous things indeed.

“Key we can’t be here. We could kill someone accidently,” Junsu warned him.

“Naw,” Key waved him off, his eyes scanning the crowd. “As long as you don’t try to control any of it with your voice or your body, you’ll be fine.”

“This is a bad idea,” Junsu grumbled.

Beside him Key’s eyes lit up. “Well, my evening calls,” Key told him, patting him on the shoulder. “Have some fun and try not to kill anyone with your stiffness,” Key told him with a snicker. Then, before he could say anything, the young man was moving through the crowd and disappeared from sight.

For a moment Junsu stood on the edge of the mass of people with the sensations of magic brushing against his skin. This was probably the worst idea he had ever had, but he couldn’t deny the lure of it. For as long as he could remember he had moved only how he was taught, used his voice only as he was shown. To do otherwise was dangerous, he had thought, and yet here were over 100 people doing just that with seemingly no ill effect. He could feel the music in the room flowing through him and he knew he should return to the Institute and send backup for Key, but for some reason he just couldn’t bring himself to do so. Instead, he took a deep breath, and for the first time in his life, took a step forward and let the music take him.

Blow
Yoochun/Junsu; PG-13

“Really?” Yoochun asked with a brow raised in question, “this is where you come every Saturday.” He gestured at the building with a glowing neon sign that was emanating a steady throbbing beat he could feel in his limbs. “Here?”

“Yes,” Junsu replied, blushing faintly.

“You, come here?” Yoochun reiterated. When he had asked to tag along with his new boyfriend on one of his weekend trips, this had been the last thing he expected to find himself standing outside of.

“I did,” he murmured as if he was embarrassed. “Look, this is stupid. Let’s just go. I wasn’t going to come anymore now that we are dating.”

Yoochun glanced around once more and noticed one of the bouncers near the door waving at them with recognition on his face. “I think he knows you.”

Careful to keep his face hidden, Junsu shook his head. “They are mistaken. Let’s just go.”

“Oh no,” Yoochun said with a smirk. “We are so going to do this.” He wrapped his hand firmly around Junsu’s bicep and tugged him along as he moved around the line to the bouncer that seemed to recognize them. Junsu released a faint squeak and struggled for half a second until he realized his struggles allowed his face to be seen. He turned his head away as he was stumblingly dragged by a laughing Yoochun to the front door.

“Xiah?” the bouncer questioned as they neared then brightened. “I thought that was you. You look different tonight, normal even.”

Yoochun’s smile widened. “Normal, huh?” he said as he looked at the man behind him who was waving his hands in denial. “So tell me, what does Xiah,” he allowed the name to roll off his tongue, loving the sound of it, “normally look like when he comes here.”

The bouncer looked at him for a moment, as if judging him and then finding him sufficient. “You must be the new boyfriend. We wondered why we didn’t see him for the last few weeks. Glad to have you back, Xiah. I think Sooyoung still has some of your things, she is behind the bar tonight.”

“That’s alright, we were just-” Junsu started but cut off his statement with a yelp as Yoochun smacked him on the behind.

“We were just out tonight and I suggested we come here. That’s why he is so dressed down. It would be great if Sooyoung could help us out,” Yoochun said smoothly.

“Go on in,” the bouncer said, jerking over his shoulder. “You should be able to find her at the bar.”

“Thanks,” Yoochun replied and dragged the protesting Junsu in after him.

Inside the club were the things he had expected -- pulsing music, flashing lights, the smell of sweat, and a mass of moving bodies. He made a beeline for the bar, dragging Junsu behind him who seemed to be trying to keep his head down the whole time. There, behind the polished surface was a young woman who was mixing drinks and flashing a teasing amount of cleavage.

“Sooyoung?” Yoochun called as soon as they were near enough to be heard.

At the sound of her name the young woman turned to look at him. “What can I get you?” she yelled over the music.

“My friend here didn’t have time to go home and change. I was told you could help,” Yoochun gestured to Junsu who was fidgeting beside him.

For a moment she gave him a disgruntled look. “Look, it isn’t my problem,” then she paused and narrowed her eyes at Junsu. “Xiah? Damn am I glad you are here tonight. This place could use a little bit of your charm. Your stuff is still in your room if you wanna go change.”

He could see Junsu starting to protest and a grin twisted her lips. “Changmin!” she yelled to the young man down the bar who was wearing a black shirt that was tight enough he could clearly see the muscle beneath. “Be a dear and take Xiah to his room, please!”

Changmin looked between the three of them for a moment and then grinned. “Sure thing,” he agreed. Then, light as a feather, he hopped over the bar and was replacing Yoochun’s hold on Junsu’s arm before the man could escape. “Come on, Xiah, let’s get you fixed up.”

He heard Junsu’s grumble of, “When did this become prison?” as Changmin disappeared with him through a back door.

“So, you are the new boyfriend,” Sooyoung stated, setting a beer in front of him.

“What of it?” Yoochun asked, prepared to defend their relationship if necessary. Not everyone was as positive about their relationship as Jaejoong had been.

She smiled at him. “I just wondered what was important enough to keep Xiah away all last month.”

“Does he work here?” Yoochun asked. He doubted that was the case since she didn’t seem upset that Junsu hadn’t shown in several weeks.

“Kinda an unofficial thing. He pretty much has a long standing invitation to come back any Saturday he wants. The owner makes sure he gets a cut of the tips since they are always nice when he is here,” she told him, turning to make another drink and pass it down the bar.

“So what does he do when he is here?” Yoochun asked curiously sipping at the beer.

She watched him for a moment and then smirked. “Oh honey, he didn’t tell you? Your little Xiah is an exotic dancer and he is good. He could turn a straight man gay.” Well damn, Yoochun thought to himself. He never would have thought that would be the case with the man he was dating. Junsu seemed so innocent and reserved in most things, that he would never have expected this.

Sooyoung moved down the bar taking care of patrons and he sipped at the drink she had gotten him while he watched her work. She was beautiful and strong in her own way and if he had been single he may have thought about dating her, but at the moment he was quite happily taken.

A few moments later there was a deafening screaming that echoed through the club, and a grinning Sooyoung gestured for him to turn. Obediently, Yoochun spun in his position and nearly dropped his beer in shock. There on the small catwalk near the DJ, was the man they knew as Xiah.

Junsu’s short hair had been tousled as if he had just woken up or walked away from a good time. His eyes were outlined in kohl, giving them a smoldering look. He had traded jeans and a sweatshirt for leather pants that he appeared to be poured into and a shirt that was loose and slit all the way to his navel. It was as if a sex kitten had replaced the man he called boyfriend. Xiah’s walking into the spot light had clearly caused the screams and when the song changed to something dark and sultry, Yoochun knew why.

With the change in the music Xiah began to dance. He took something that Yoochun could only flail at, at best, and made it appear to be something so graceful and wonderful to watch. It was certainly sexy, but it was beautiful too.

“So what do you think?” Sooyoung asked, leaning on the bar behind him.

“I think I’m very glad that he is coming home with me,” Yoochun told her. With a smirk he drank the last of his beer and set the bottle on the bar for her to take care of, after all, he had a boyfriend to claim.

Every Breath
In the Of Flesh, Fur, and Fang Universe

People made money off things like this, good money or so he had heard. He wasn’t exactly strapped for cash, but a little extra wouldn’t hurt him, besides it seemed like as good of an idea as any at the moment. Junsu had been sure that he wouldn’t care, that it wouldn’t matter to him to give a little bit of himself. It wasn’t as though what he was giving wouldn’t regenerate. That was the excuse he had been using as he followed HyunJoong after work into the mansion to meet the creature that would change his life.

-o-o-o-o-o-

“Welcome back,” a young man greeted the female beside him and Junsu furrowed his brow as he studied the person, unable to tell if it was a human or something more. The man lifted her hand and brushed his lips against it. “Unfortunately I will have to pass this evening darling,” he told her smoothly.

When Junsu had been lead to the basement he hadn’t be certain what he had expected. Possibly, he had figured, they would be lined up like cows and picked through for who would provide the best food. He hadn’t expected there to be a laid out table full of food and a mingling of people as if they were at a party. There were supposed to be vampires here, HyunJoong had spoken with him about them, but he couldn’t see any difference between any of the people in the room. Occasionally a couple would break away and disappear from the room but it was impossible to tell if either was a vampire or not, at least to his eyes. Still he had been handed a good deal of money upon entering and he wasn’t about to complain about that.

“You look sad,” a young man who appeared to be about his age said as he casually stepped up and leaned against a wall beside him, “or disappointed I’m not sure which. This isn’t what you thought it was going to be?”

“No,” he admitted honestly. “I work with a friend who told me there would be vampires here and that we were coming to offer our blood. I assume there are since HyunJoong doesn’t lie but still, I’m not sure I have seen one.”

“Are you one of those who are just looking to catch a glimpse of the monsters?” the young man asked, brushing a stray strand of dark hair back from his face.

“It would be nice,” Junsu replied softly, “to see the monsters coming for once in my life.”

“Ah,” the other young man made a noise of understanding. “Some of the worst monsters are the kinds that are just like you, that you can’t see coming.”

“Yeah,” Junsu agreed.

“I’m Yoochun,” the young man told him.

“Junsu,” he answered in kind. “You come here often?”

“Of course I do. I live here.” Startled Junsu looked over at the young man, his eyes widening as his mind pieced together what that could mean. “You are one of them.”

“You could say that,” Yoochun confirmed and this time his smile held a hint of fangs. “Would you like to see what a vampire is really like?” he asked extending his hand.

Despite his better judgment, or possibly because of it, Junsu nodded and placed his hand in vampire’s outstretched one.

-o-o-o-o-o-

His instincts told him to run, not passively tilt his head in blatant offer. Something in him knew that this was a bad idea, a dangerous idea. Lip painted over the sensitive flesh of neck, sending tingles down his spine. He could feel the prick of sharp fangs pressing and then a flash of pain as they pierced flesh. Then, a moment later, for the first time in what seemed like weeks, he went blissfully numb.

-o-o-o-o-o-

“I don’t usually do this you know,” Yoochun said lazily as he watched him sip a glass of juice a half an hour later, “but you seem like you need it.”

Junsu laughed at himself, wishing that the numbness hadn’t receded with the vampire’s fangs. “I do have juice in my own refrigerator.”

A smile twisted the vampire’s lips, “yes but the company is so much better here.” Intelligent eyes that showed an age he hadn’t noticed before watched him as he continued to drink. “You aren’t the type to come her risking your life. What is it that has caused this?”

“It’s nothing,” Junsu replied automatically, and then threw on the line he had been using for what seemed like forever, “I’m fine.”

“Are you?” the vampire asked. “You can’t lie to most supernatural creatures; did you know that? We can smell when you are. So tell me Junsu, what has made you so sad?”

Staring down into his glass, Junsu felt tears rimming his eyes. “It’s going to sound stupid,” he warned. “There was this girl, and I asked her to marry me. She said no.”

“Ah,” Yoochun didn’t particularly sound like he understood.

“I was dating her for seven years,” he added, although he couldn’t say why he did so.

“Ah, so that is why you are in so much pain,” the vampire said softly.

Uncomfortably, Junsu placed the glass on the table and stood. “I should be going. Thank you for your hospitality.” He bowed deeply, respectfully, and moved to the door.

“Junsu,” Yoochun purred from the bed. “There is something that most vampires have, that I am lacking.”

“What’s that?” he asked before he could stop himself.

“We call them Pets. They are our most cherished human, close to us, and a regular source of food.” His mind was still trying to turn over then implications when the vampire was suddenly across the room and directly in front of him. “I can give you that numbness to take away your hurt every time I feed from you. I can make it better,” Yoochun said softly, his fingers reaching out to touch Junsu’s neck in a gentle caress. “All you have to do is agree to be mine.”

Before he could stop himself, before his mind could interject a moment of reason, his voice gave Yoochun his whispered answer. “Okay.”

-o-o-o-o-o-

It was familiar now, the press of Yoochun’s limbs to his body as lips painted over his neck. The vampire always liked to curl around him as he fed, enjoying the contact. Junsu didn’t mind and was even growing to crave the contact as much as he had grown to desire the vampire’s bite.

“Junsu,” was the murmured name as the vampire’s tongue traced a path over the smooth skin. He felt fangs press against the side of his neck, the always careful warning before they bit into his flesh. The numbness he had come to expect washed over his body, soothing away the last pains of the day.

Then a faint trickle warm pleasure began to spiral out from his neck, the sensation new enough that it still made him gasp quietly. It had begun coming earlier and earlier in the feeding, a warmth spreading through him that left him trembling and craving more. As if reading his mind Yoochun pressed closer, his hands drifting slowly over Junsu’s body and for the first time, Junsu relaxed against him completely and allowed the vampire to make him his.

Believe
Jonghyun/Key, Taemin; PG-13

“Trust me.”

“That is a really long way down.”

“Jonghyun, just trust me.”

“Taemin, this is a fucking cliff and that is long way down!”

“He will catch you.”

“No I don’t think he will.”

“He’s your dragon. He will catch you.”

“I’m pretty sure Key is still pissed at me because I missed a spot when I was oiling him last night. He will probably miss just on principle.”

“He won’t miss. You are his partner he has an obligation to catch you.”

“He could make it look like an accident… Training accidents happen all the time.”

“Well if he misses you then at least there is water at the bottom.”

“1000 feet down! And there are rocks! See those little gray things! I bet those are sharp pointy rocks just waiting to spear through my tender flesh! And he will let them! And laugh as I die.”

“Jonghyun… He is your partner. If you die he will too.”

“Key defies logic. I bet he will be the only dragon to outlive his Rider.”

“They die from sorrow, Jonghyun. Not by anything having to do with magic.”

“See! He wouldn’t even be sad. He would just laugh.”

“God you are a baby! Even Onew didn’t put up this big of a fuss and he is scared of heights and water!”

“He knew Minho would catch him! Key will drop me, on purpose!”

“Which, implies that he would have to catch you in the first place.”

“He can make it look like an accident.”

“How the hell did you manage to Hatch a dragon in the first place!? You have got to be the most pathetic Rider I have ever seen!”

“You should be more respectful of your elders!”

“You have ten seconds to jump or I will kick you off myself and you will fail this exercise.”

“You wouldn’t.”

“Ten.”

“Taemin, you wouldn’t dare.”

“Nine.”

“…”

“Eight.”

“I could probably have your Rank stripped.”

“Seven.”

“And have your dragon Grounded.”

“Six.”

“And get you stable duty.”

“Five.”

“Taemin I’m going to die!”

“Four.”

“… Shit… That is a long way down.”

“Three.”

“If I die, I’m coming back to haunt you.”

“Two.”

“And your children. And their children. I will curse your whole family.”

“One.”

“Fine I’m going! …. OH MY GOD!!!!!!! KIBUM!!!!!”

‘Foolish human, as if I would let you die upon the rocks. That would be a waste.’

“I-I fully agree.”

‘Although you could use a little swim.’

“Wait… What? Kibum! Don-”
