Looks like there's a soon-to-be hurricane heading for the Gulf Coast of Florida. Not sure that it's going to be very strong, but it will be the first to hit an area that we serve since I've been at this job.
Current predictions on the path have it hitting around St. Petersburg, and we have a LOT of customers in the Tampa Bay area. I'd say that between 25% and 30% of my calls on a given day come from that area. DC and Philly account for most of the rest with Dallas next and then Southern California with a sprinkling of Portland and Ft. Wayne for good measure.
If this storm hits as it's projected I would expect Thursday and Friday to be full of "when am I getting my service back" calls.
