Apparently MLS wunderkind Freddy Adu has attracted a good deal of Prem interest in the last or so, since making his first cap (so that he can get a work permit in Britain). Predictably, the two teams mentioned in the BBC's article are Chelsea and ManFuckingYoo.
There are better players in MLS. It's just that most of them are 8 to 10 years older, and therefore don't have all of the "potential" Adu has. And one can only hope that when he goes over there to play that he will live up to the hype, otherwise it will be one more strike against American association football in the eyes of Britain, and all of Europe, to be honest. This despite the fact that Adu was cut from the MNT roster this past week.
Remember folks, he's 16. He's good, but don't expect him to be a goal-scoring machine at this stage of his career.
