So, Denis starts out giving up 4 goals on 10 shots in the first period. They come out for the second, and they put LeClaire in net. He stops all 16 shots he faces. The Jackets get a goal back in the second. They put Denis back in for the third. With 17:43 left they score the second goal of the period, getting the deficit down to 4-3. With about 2 minutes left, Denis has gone 3-12 for the period. Nash just scored on a 5-on-3, but it's 7-4.
When you pull the ineffective starter, he's supposed to stay out. What are these coaches smoking???
EDIT: Appearantly LeClaire ended up with a minor injury in the second. But it wasn't so bad he couldn't finish that period. It's too bad that they had to fall back on a guy who couldn't stop a beachball tonight.
