NCIS: Reunion
Dear CBS,
I realize that Tony/Ziva is somehow canon in your world (which I don't see, but that's just me), but if you could please leave it in subtext so it's not set in stone and I can continue to explain away events such as the longing glances in this episode, that would be awesome.

I actually have two theories that totally explain the longing glances in Reunion (la la la hush my reality is totally real), because obviously I've been thinking about this way too much and if I knew how to write decent fanfic at all I would've just pounded these out, but:
One version is that Tony doesn't know what his feelings for Ziva are, exactly - he'd totally bone her if he had the chance because hey, hot chick, but real love? This is TONY we're talking about, with his stunning ability to understand his own feelings - but he still flirts with her because again, hot chick, plus it's flattering when a hot chick is all stalky towards you as long as she doesn't actually full-fledge stalk you - but then Ziva left for Israel and Tony's feelings just got more complicated because now there's the addition of worry/concern on TOP of whatever else he felt for her, and somewhere in this mess he starts talking to Tim more and they end up sleeping together, so kind of more a friends with benefits thing, and McGee always knew there was this huge Ziva shadow looming in the background, and he's ok with being second to that when it's just sex, but then feelings start developing (emerging?), and there's at least one long painful talk where they hash out their feelings for each other and decide to be together for reals. And the next day Gibbs sends them off and they go rescue Ziva, with Tony repeatedly assuring Tim that he's just rescuing her as teammate/family, his real feelings are with Tim, and then they do the longing glances thing in the office because Tony's kinda like oh wow I forgot how hot she was, plus he's genuinely missed her and so is looking his fill, and Tim's all goddammit you TOLD me there wasn't a thing anymore. So he stomps down to Abby's lab after the Nutterbutter comment (and seriously? Nutterbutter? I love Tim so much), and she's all "what's wrong, Tim?" and he's like "Tony and Ziva blah," and so she calls Tony to break up whatever thing they have going on and also to get Ziva down to the lab. And then Tim kidnaps Tony into the men's room where they work things out and have a hot quickie in the bathroom, and Ziva comes in right after McGee left and Tony's splashing water on his face because, seriously, if I had S7 McGee being all possessive and in my face and staking his claim, I'd be all hot and bothered too, and the bathroom scene happens and then Tony and Tim go home and have sex like bunnies.
Other version is almost exactly the same except Tony's never had feelings for Ziva, he likes her attention but it's never reciprocated, and then the entire thing with Tim happens and he's having somewhat of a personal crisis (playboy -> gay!?), and he just bottomed for McGee for the first time the night before and LIKED it, and so he's all holy shit am I 100% gay now? And feeling slightly less masculine so when he sees Ziva he turns on the eyes and the longing glances just to PROVE that he still has it. And McGee's totally onto him, and then insert bathroom quickie and the rest of the previous version's ending.
I obviously am very hung up on this bathroom quickie thing :P I also need to stop obsession over S702.

Also? Tony's squeak when Gibbs head-slaps him? SO CUTE. I must've rewatched like 5 times in a row, and squawked with laughter every single time.
