Now I shall bitch about tax season.
Why is it that everyone feels that it is okay to bring in your information in the last week? Did you think April 30th would never come? Funny it does occur once every year. What do you mean you forgot? You have only been filing every year for the past 35 years!
What is with these people?
Anyway I am glad it is over for another year. For many reasons I will not get into here, this year was extra difficult and my manager was extra stressed and crabby.
We did get to have a nice dinner after though and I won the office pool as to how many tax returns we did. Now I am $75 richer. Yay me! That along with the extra hours I worked on Saturday means my pay is nicely inflated.
I may have to pickup the handbag at the goodwill that has been calling to me for a month now...
