Part of the Program
Ok, so it is 11:45 and I should really just go to bed, but I'm not going to because I feel compelled to update this thing. So, just a few quick facts about my life as of late, then off to bed I go.
Kat visited two weekends ago, and it was fabulously low-key. While Barmaids wasn't the wild fling it was last year, I can't really say that I missed the horrible roller-coaster ride of emotion that it was. :) Kat, Jenni, Maria, and I all just hung out together that afternoon, catching up and doing silly things together like we used to. Sunday after we returned to Tucson, we spent a majority of the day shopping. It was fun, but I was disappointed in my lack of purchases (I made up for it this past week, sheesh). Kat went to LA all too soon on Monday morning. :( Luckily Jennine showed up to give Kat a ride to the airport because when we went outside, I discovered that I had a flat tire from a thorn in my tire, as I later learned. >\
Last weekend James came down, and it was good. We saw Wolverine, which was a little disappointing, truth be told. We also shopped, and I got two new summer dresses and a new pair of sandals. I bought Grosse Point Blank from Best Buy, and James bought me Waitress because I found it for $5. :) I haven't seen it yet, but it has Nathan Fillion in it, so I don't really care. Maria stopped by for a few minutes on Sunday, and I may be the designated donation taker at her performance in two weeks. If anyone will be in Tucson on the night of May 15 and wants to see an awesome performance and hear some live local music, you should come to see this. :) More details will be forthcoming when I find out more info from Maria.
Alright. Ten minutes writing and thinking and now it is time for bed.
