Got up early again. I called the catering place and went in...I didnt even get an interview...2 mins in the door she is like "Oh you're from Aims"? Here fill this out." So I fill out all this crap and talk to her and find out this job is contract. I work when I feel like it because it so happens this company has like 200 people and the clients they usually snag are like Exxon corprate, Collages, City events, ect. She told me one time They had a call to cator to an event for George Bush Senior. I mean alot of these clients they have are high ass class motherfuckers. I was like...whoa hello tips. She said sometimes they allow tip jars and sometimes they dont but if someone sneaks you some cash you better take it. Its only 8 an hour but considering the type of customers they usually have and the fact most places pay about 2.50 an hour I am not going to complain. This reminds me of something I saw on the apprentice last week where one team went for volume and the other went for type of customr. high roller customrs tip more so that team won. 8 an hour + tips...sometimes. not all places tip..thus the 8 an hour. But the best part is I call her and say hey i wanna work. The i dont have to call her for another month if I want. VERY flexable schedule. Natually my ass is gonna be there every day if I can. Here is the down side. Since the clients are very high class bling blingers..I have to wear a fucking tux 99% of the time. When I dont its Kaki shors or pants and a gay ass golf type shirt. Oh well. Small price I say. Atleast ill be rolling now. If I get tired of wearing the tux ill just say hey let me take a break for a few days. I love that. She mentioned since summer is comming they will probably be overflooded with requests. Im thinkin after i do this stuff this weekend for the speedway i may just blow this money and buy me a game...maybe go on a "date" with a friend or something. Ugh I dont know. All I know is I have a good possibility that money is no longer an issue. I would say this takes care of one side of my problem..now to find a real engineering job.
