April already..this gives me about 8 - 9 months to leave this house..and actually live on my own. I dont want to live here anymore. I have lived here long enough. I got in touch with a catering company called, approperiatly enough, "Bartenders and Servers". The name says it all. I go in in the morning to fill out paperwork and get some info on how they operate. I wouldnt call it a job, but its way better than nothing. I also got hooked up with a temp agency for this weekend going out to the race track since there is a race in town they will need extra help. There isnt any bartending involved its just basic help that basically is wanted for general stuff. Kinda like chores while the race is going on. I figured what the hell why not..atleast i would get out of the house. Sad part is its 12 hr shifts for 3 days fri, sat, and sun. I think anyway. only 7 an hour but after im done thats pretty much 2 months of bills taken care of and some money left over to go somewhere..maybe a bar. i dont think ive ever actually sat at a bar and drank. Ive ordered a beer at a resturant once...thats about it. i ordered a coke at a bar...but never a drink. I think a few times ive ordered drinks to the table..but never at the bar.
The way i figured it i get about 250 for working this weekend..and from 2 months of bills i will have 30 left. that means i can go out and see a movie or something..maybe get a drink afterwards.
