Apology & 4th of July
Happy 4th to everyone!
I have been MIA for a few days. I put a few comments up when i could. It feels like MUCH longer because so much has happened. Be prepared for some long posts ahead. But right now im in an odd hotel/motel? Well its a bed and breakfast in the middle of nowhere NH. And while im never gonna fall asleep in this bed im not the best typer on my phone. This was a rather rash decision we made. We hat $800 in our account when we randomly decided to do this. Horrible cuz this trip is costing a ton! All of which could have gone to bills, disney, xmas for the kids or even a membership to some kid friendly place that would last the summer.
Honestly hurt feelings fueled it. Nobody invited us to any cookouts, fireworks....nothing. we tried to invite people over but nobody even responded! We were also just so being home and dealing with everything adults have to deal with. And since nobody would watch our minons we took them along. At least i convinced rob to only book 1 night. We will try and make thw drive home tomorrow.
We also thought that Id be getting both a check from unemployment and a lump sum for a PTO balance. But I got another job at RIPIN so they are holding my vacation pay which is good for disney but bad for now.
But Yeay i have a job!! I should be thrilled to the max about it but im not. Even with the worlds shittiest coworkers at the old job....no job is ever gonna be as good as the NICU. Blah.
So yeah Im employed, super broke, very irrational but had a crazy awesome few days. Today especially. I cant wait to tell u about our fun.
No fireworks or cookouts for us this 4th but we are making it fun! Hope you all are enjoying your weekend!
