The thing that made me die yesterday. I went to MediaMarkt with the intention of buying something. On Thursday I'd spotted the No Direction Home double DVD and Rattle And Hum. Yesterday there was no R&H any more, so I bought 200 minutes of Dylan and I can't wait to watch it.
But then I saw this and guys I'm really lame but I didn't know about it! Whuutttt. PaulMcCartney.com used to send me updates by e-mail. And also I should maybe sometimes log in to the Macca-Central forum, I stopped posting about two years ago, IDK, I just got tired of discussing the music and reading, "This album is amazing but that album [which quite often was Driving Rain] is complete rubbish! And this is universal truth!" No, DR is awesome, bitch. So anyway. It's funny because for years and years we whined on and on about how Paul should release his promotional videos, and finally he's done it. Kinda.
There at the shop I was completely gobsmacked by the array of stuff that these 3 DVDs offer, I mean, ROCKSHOW for heaven's sake. But looking through the listing at Wiki (which might be incomplete for all I know) there are a few strange things. Like, "Mamunia" and "I've Had Enough" have promo videos? :| How? Since when? And if "Baby's Request" is on there, where are all the other Back To The Egg videos? Okay, I guess they're just part of the BTTE special but then where is that? Those are pretty cool videos. And where is MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB? XD Trippiest shit EVAH. And where is fucking "Lonely Road" and "Your Loving Flame"? Just cuz most of Driving Rain was about the golddigger bitch, it's still there and I like it like it, yes I bloody well do. "Stranglehold"? "The World Tonight"? "Young Boy"? Not that I don't have all of these - thanks to years of relentless obsessive download work my Paul McCartney video collection is formidable. But... it isn't even the complete Rockshow.
Aside from all this bitching, I WANT it so much it hurts. LMAO, "Spies Like Us," Tuggie is probably ecstatic. LMFAO, "Waterfalls." LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PRESS. OMG. If some angel buys me this for Christmas, I'll be LOLing for weeks. Oh Paul.
