Click to viewI am such a weak person. BioShock. It own my soul. I am so addicted to it, like a Splicer is to ADAM. XD
I'm very proud of this~ I think it's one of my best videos thus far, and I think I grew as an editor. I learned a lot more about Vegas. I decided to do a BioShock GMV (in like one day XD) after I looked about for some BioShock editing, and I was disappointed with what I saw. Most videos were set to a hard rock song, and the clips were randomly placed in the video. There wasn't really anything with a story, and I was kind of put out, since BioShock is so brilliant.
I love the song, so much. I've been wanting to edit to a Muse song for a while, particularly this one, but I didn't have anything that would fit. But BioShock fits perfectly. XD I feel like this song is so haunting and mournful. It stayed with me for a long time after I first heard it, then of course I had to go back and listen to it again and again. It sticks in your head like BioShock does, and I think that's why it fits so well. The lyrics also fit pretty good~
The quote at the end makes me cry. Good ending always makes me cry. TT_TT
Concept: Jack is suckered into the underwater city of Rapture, where he must struggle with a huge moral decision. As he fights Big Daddies, Splicers, and Rapture security, he soon finds that there are more and better rewards in saving something than seeking power.
