In other news...
One of the great joys of my Christmas was that, despite all my financial woes and the prospect that I'd never manage to get my own set of the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood DVDs, I managed to get all ten disks! I've been taking evenings and watching a complete disk whenever I have the time and am also awake.
I imagine some people will have "moved on" from FMA (although I can't actually imagine "moving on" from a story you like, in the same way I never "move on" from enjoying Lord of the Rings). But I never got to see the episodes on the Funimation site, past about episode 30. So I was thrilled that now I'll see the whole thing in its entirety -- as often as I want.
I had a four-hour bout of insomnia in the middle of the night, and am pretty wiped. So I'm not sure I'll manage the next disk tonight. I want to be very alert for the next episode -- the episode I've been anticipating from the very first time I read episode 95 in the manga. (Think Riza, holding a gun to Roy's head.) I don't want to be watching that one, half asleep. So I may save it for tomorrow evening. Nice way to start a weekend, eh?
