High school 101:
Graduation Year: 2002
School: Cary Academy
1. Who was your best friend? Bonnye, Kat, and Junius in the end...the first two def. in the beginning, plus Parker and Maria, etc., etc.
2. What sports did you play? Volleyball, Softball, and Basketball
3. What kind of car did you drive? Our old faithful Acura Legend which I shared with my sis.
4. It's Friday night, where were you? God, doing whatever dorky kids do. No, probably at the movies, hanging out with friends, or BABYSITTING my life away.
5. Were you a party animal? No, I was a goody-goody.
6. Were you in the "In Crowd"? Lol, well, I guess if there was one. But there wasn't, all groups melded at our school. But I was Homecoming Queen, so I guess that must count for something.
7. Ever skip school? Every wednesday of senior year. But with my mom's permission since I had good grades, was already into college, didn't have many classes that day, and she wanted me to go shopping with her.
8. Ever smoke? Never.
9. Were you a nerd? Everyone at our school was geeky in some way. But really, my true nerd days were in middle school and I got over that when I got contacts.
10. Did you get suspended/expelled? Yeah, right.
11. Can you sing the alma mater? You've given us the knowledge of the thinkers of the past, blah blah blah, it's long but I know the whole thing because I had to sing it all the time with chorus.
12. Who was your favorite teacher? That's a toughie. Probably, Mrs. Brown, Mr. Adkins, and Prof. Van Wyk. Oh, and Mr. Johnson when he was there. And of course, Vic.
13. Favorite class? ummm...physics and geometry. Dance when I did it.
14. What was the full name of your high school? Cary Academy
15. School mascot? A charger, even though we all voted for killer bees.
16. Did you go to Prom? Yes, twice, even though I could have gone four times - we were the only grade that could have done that. But that would have been redundant no?
17. If you could go back and do it over, would you? That's hard. Unlike most people, I really loved highschool - I had lots of great friends who all got along, did lots of activities, sports, tons of stuff. I don't know, it kept me busy and I didn't have much responsibility. And I was rolling in dough from all of that babysitting without any bills to pay. So yeah. And there's not much I would change. I might have stayed on the basketball team.
18. What do you remember most about graduation? You know, nothing really. I remember the rehearsal and hanging out with everyone better. Graduation was just...another day in a nice dress and an ugly blue cap and gown.
19. Favorite memory of your Senior Year? My Christmas scavenger hunt.
20. Were you ever posted up on the senior wall? Uh, yeah, I guess. We had senior squares, and pages in the yearbook - oh and we had all these dumb things like baby pictures our parents had sent in that people had to guess.
21. Did you have a job your senior year? Babysitting, babysitting, babysitting.
22. Who did you date? Junius. That's it, and still is.
23. Where did you go most often for lunch? Cafeteria, but on our days off either to chinese, or down to KFC for some chicken with the girls and then pints of Ben & Jerry's.
24. Have you gained weight since then? Yes, but I lost a lot my first year of college. It wasn't until I REALLY started drinking too much beer this year that I gained weight.
25. What did you do after graduation? Went out with my fam for lunch. Hung out. Nothing big.
The End!!! :)
