Wheeoooo I'm back and alone and alive. I skimmed roughly 400 entries on my flist but ehhh let me know if I missed anything important.
Soooo the past few days have been pretty epic and pretty wonderful.
Last weekend of faire was good. Saturday was kind of stressful because Nogga wasn't there, Erica was not fun to deal with and I actually flipped my shit at her a bit. And this is a big deal, because I am super non-confrontational-chan.. so she had REALLY pissed me off to get such a rise out of me. I'm sorry, 3 hour and 5 minute breaks are NOT OKAY. So that wasn't fun. But whatevvv, I got over it and then Kayla+Kittie+Mike+I had adventures with the Captain in the tent on Saturday night which lead to Pokémon silliness ("OH MY GOD THERE'S A FLYGON IN THE TENT") and late-night wanderings and drunken red light/green light which is a terrible idea.
Sunday was fortunately hang-over-less. As if to spite us, Erica and her boyfriend decided to take half the day off because they "had a long drive home." However, they then proceeded to dick around the faire and not leave while Draco, Nogga and myself were completely swamped. Nottt so fun. But we survived somehow, and faire was concluded with all of us going "FUCK, I MEANT TO GET ____, DO ____, PURCHASE ____ AND HAVE SEX WITH ____." Oh well, there's always next year.
Mike, Kayla, Kittie and I then went to the diner for the first of four trips in three days, then back to my house where we all passed out. Yesterday was quite lovely, though. Another trip to the diner for lunch (where we left a $13 tip because out waitress was awesome) and then an adventure to Mitsuwa, where I acquired the summer Munchlax plush I've been searching for! 8D And then scouters and capsules and Goku bracelets happened too.. as well as Fatty McRent-a-cop telling us we couldn't sit on the Hudson. What. Afterwards, we rescued a garden snake (which we named Ekans) from a kitty and then went to WOOFYPET (puppiesgrooming) where we played with some adorable puppins. Then to JoAnne's for cosplay crap, but not before stopping at Petco and later KB Toys where they LARP'd with not-boffer swords and Kayla got free toys. Finally some Party Store, where Kittie got a sweet hat and they tried on Naruto costumes. Aaand then Suburban AGAIN for dinner. We love those grilled cheeses.
Today was a final trip to Suburban (so many grilled cheeses ;; 3;;), another doctor's appointment (he still doesn't know why I'm still coughing and has now referred me to an allergist ?_?), a cute café in my town (where Kittie smelled flowers a lot, I had awkward high school reunions and got delicious coffee that made my tummy hurt) and finally exploring the Ho-Ho-Kus brook where I used to play as a kid (which involved wet feets and getting duck shit on my favorite pants which ended the adventure. >:T)
Goodbyes were no fun. And now a return to real life, as I start work tomorrow. Hooray.
But yeah, today has been a multi-hit combo of queer-related awkward situations. Incident one was a quick kiss this morning that I didn't realize one of our cleaning ladies witnessed, which may or may not have lead to telling another something in Spanish involving "a house full of lesbians." Oops. Aaaand tonight at dinner, Mom asked me if Kayla and I were "special friends."
