new airport security

Ran across a new tactic at CVG on the way home from the holidays. After handing my ID and boarding pass to the security ticket taker (at the beginning of the line), she did the usual look at the ID. However, instead of just comparing photos, she then proceeded to ask me five different questions about information on my license. Where's my home, what's my birthday, how old am I, where am I traveling to, and what year my license expires. Everything except the license expiration date I have in my head (I guessed the right expiration years as well). That seems perhaps more effective at detecting fake ID papers than their old system, but it really threw me for a loop.
