Mit Kürbis klappt das aber wirklich besser als mit der Süßkartoffel ^^;;

Your cake looks good. However I have always preferred pumpkin to sweet potato.

There is also a sweet potato pie, very sweet, which in French would be called "étouffe-chrétien" [rough translation: man-choker]

About the only way I like sweet potatoes is spicy roasted: you cut them in wedges, put them in a pie pan with butter, and season with salt, pepper, paprika and a pinch of cayenne pepper, roast in a fairly hot oven.

Yeah, after trying this one, I totally agree with you. Pumpkin is better ^^

Though I've got one recipe for some Sweet Potato cake (rather a dessert) which tastes really nice too.

I tried to google "étouffe-chrétien", but it shows up too many different pics ^^;;;
When it's very sweet, it's no wonder that they call it "man-choker" as somehow people can only eat a certain amount of sweet and then they are full *ggg*
