Those are the pictures I took the weekend before, when I visited my parents.
This was the first real sign I saw for the horicultural show - and my FIRST thought was "Why the heck is he dancing Venus???" until I noticed that he is merely doing a guesture to point out the name _._ *fail?*
We had REALLY beautiful weather, so walking around and watching all the flowers was no problem at all. (and no, this is not photoshopped. The sky was that blue *.* )
Currently it seems to be tulip season, that's why you'll get to see them all over the place.
This one below is supposed to be a waterfall (they ran out of money and replaced it with flowers ^_~ )
Next up, rhododendron, hedge land and a yanagi willow.
Then some general things:
Nothing says tourism like a red bus, no?
This is the official entrance to the show. Again, they ran out of money, but it looks very cool. There are 42 of those arches in total.
Fishtanks, including fishies.
And some "garden". I'll take another picture in a few months to see how much the salads etc. grew *gggggg*
Passageway, covered by trees/hedges.
The "bridge" connecting the two sides of the lake (which makes it much faster to get from one side to the other. The normal way would take about 10-15 minutes, instead of 1 minute ^^;; )
Water. We have lakes there. MANY lakes ^^;;
And field of raps too.
Kudos for everyone who can spot the castle ^^;;;
Because I can, I'll show you the castle. Again. The pictures were taken on two days, that's why the light is different too.
