I am killing time while SLF packs for Montana. We decided to leave tonight. All my shit is out on the curb waiting for a Subaru to come pick it (and me) up.
She worked today, or we would have left sooner. I figure we'll travel an hour or two, make it to Moses Lake or something and get a hotel, some shut eye, and then leave again early first thing. If there's one thing I hate, it's wasting vacation time. I leave as soon as I possibly can and make sure I have some buffer time before I get assimilated back into real-life.
One might say that the past ten months of my life has been like one long vacation. And that is probably partly true.
I'm ready for some Montana weather in the 80s. A cool lake to swim in. Tennis and golf. Cheap beer in cowboy bars. Playing guitar next to fires.
On July 8 my ten month vacation comes to an end. I will be enjoying this last week to the fullest.
