Campion: SCENES FROM 'OLEANDER HONEY' (PG-13)
Summary: Four excerpts from a novel never written, wherein Campion and Amanda are sent to Averna on a honeymoon-that-isn't (except that it sort of is), Campion is underestimated (as usual), and Amanda proves that it's always a good idea to bring along an engineer (namely her).
Notes/Warnings: My Yuletide recipient suggested "Albert and Amanda getting their honeymoon after all by dint of being sent to Averna to foil some Nazi plot to seize its resources (bonus points if they have to use their real names/titles!)" If I'd had time, I would have tried to write the novel this prompt deserved: instead, I settled for excerpts. Contains minor spoilers up through TRAITOR'S PURSE, obviously, and tweaks certain elements in CORONER'S PIDGIN :cough:. Thank you,
