Stolen off of ladyoceanstar  :-D

1. What would you do right now, if money were not an issue?

Pay off all loans, credit cards, people I owe money, buy a really good desktop AND laptop, buy a car, buy a motorcycle, and possibly a house.  >.>  And travel.  A LOT.

2. What would you do for the next three years, if money were not an issue?

Travel, go to every convention I've ever wanted to, buy my Parents houses, spend time with my friends, and enjoy life.

3. What is bringing you the most joy right now that requires little or no money?

My friends.  :-)  Regardless of the fact that I have to pay a phone bill, internet bill, or spend gas money to go see them. :-)

4. What types of things do you find enjoyable that require no money?

Spending time with my friends, riding my bike, reading.

5. Is there anything you've been meaning to do for a long time, but put off because of money?

Get a new Laptop/desktop, get a new car (a REALLY new car, not a 20-yr-old POS), and travel the world round.

Alt Friday Five:

1. What do you want to be when you grow up?

Used to want to be a music teacher... reality has me being a retail manager... dreams have me as a writer, or a traveler...  Do not have the ambition/drive to pursue the latter two on my own has me sticking with the second...

2. What did you want to be when you were younger? How does this compare with your life now and your vision of your future life?

I was a practical kid... I wanted to be a music teacher... well, when I was REALLY young I wanted a horse farm. :-)  This makes me mildly depressed when I think of what I've done so far with my life.

3. Are there dreams you've given up on for reasons other than changing desires? What made you give up on them, and how do you feel about them in hindsight?

I left horses behind at the beginning of high school to be way too grown up and practical for my own good and go after music.  I left music in college when I started to hate it due to not enough ambition to go through with a full degree of it.  I've given up on writing because I know I'm not good enough to do so professionally or to keep it up when I would need to to bring in a paycheck.

4. Are there things (like marriage or college) that you've always believed would be part of your life? Did you get them? Are you still looking? Have you moved on?

Marriage I never thought would happen for me when I was younger, but I almost got married.  College was something that was supposed to happen, and I got too lazy/side-tracked/distracted to continue with the classes.  Still have a hard time concentrating on something like classwork for longer than a 4 week time period.  I'm glad I left the almost-marriage in all honesty.  I was pushing for something, wishing for something that wasn't even there.  I'm much happier where I am now in life in that aspect.  ^_^   As for college... I think a part of me is still bitter that this world just wants us to have a 50k+ piece of paper saying we sat through a bunch of boring lectures and did a bunch of pointless assignments for 4+ years JUST to get a half-decent paying job in the US.  >.<   I'm smart enough to do most of the jobs out there that people my age have and get paid enough money to survive on their own without feeling like they're being buried by expenses.... only I don't have that piece of paper that the employers want, and so, I'm somehow inferior.  I learn with hands on, in a real environment.  Classrooms are not the way I learn easily, and probably never will.....  (/end rant)

5. What is part of your life now that you would never have imagined as a child or teenager?

If someone told me I had been in a 7 1/2 year relationship, ALMOST got married, and had moved to NJ for 6 years... JUST to MISS OHIO and come back home... yeah...  I just wanted to get outta here when I was younger...
