If I was a cat, I would hide behind a wardrobe or a shed.
If I was an elephant I would walk out, away, somewhere far. At least I'd have that certain knowledge of hundreds of generations before me of where I was going and that this was how it is supposed to be. I would not be afraid of my loneliness.
I would not be responsible to take into account what anybody might be thinking or feeling. I would be free to do whatever I want.
I would not fear anything. And I would not miss anything. I would simply know and do.
