1) It's sad how mentioning a good idea in some public place will most likely lead to someone else stealing it and showing it around as their own. Lj is obviously a public place, too, you can't trust anyone.
2) I loathe being spoiled if I'm not actively looking for it.
I understand that if one's ecstatic, because one's just seen something absolutely epic, one wants to shout it all out, etc. But thus you rob others of the opportunity to make this experience as well. You rob them /me/ of experiencing the same feelings of wonder that have pleased you so much.
It's something you can't make good anymore.
