Quarter-final now

Well, that was that.

I'm proud of the team, they were great. They have played. I mean truly played, not just that sorry excuse for playing. They were capable, professional. I'm really proud.

And listening to the interviews they were/are always fully aware of what their mistakes, flaws and short-comings were/are. Which is something I can't say of the English. I listen to Capello and he says they were fabulous (but of course this is only public talk. I just heard Alan Shearer and he stated clearly how bad he thought the English team has been.)

And once again Jogi Löw was right. If I was him, I'd give everybody the smug face and tell them where they can stick their predictions about Klose and Podolski or any other player he has chosen to be part of the team.

I'm gutted about England's second goal. That decisison has spoiled a lot. But in the end, Germany didn't win 2:1 but 4:1, and England hardly had a chance to score. They had no edge at all, at times it was sad to look at.

I'm gutted for my bb. You have no idea. No goal again.
... and the god of football obviously doesn't want for Wayne and Cristiano to walk over the same pitch as it seems. He must be afraid of burning his eyes at the combined marvel *depressed*

team: england, football, nationalmannschaft
