Things I can't believe:

Jun 23, 2010 23:18

- Germany having won that game.

- Germany having actually reached the round of 16. OMG.... they were... I don't even feel like looking for the right words. Not totally bad, and Ghana was rather good, but... duh... it was 'exciting' in a not necessarily good way.
EdiT: Got the expression: not convincing.

- Australia actually beating Serbia this obviously.

And then:

Someone please tell me once more why it was supposed to be such a brilliant idea to take Wayne down and bring Joe Cole in his stead... I mean I believe you when you say he's an awesome player, even though I've never seen much of it, but this time taking down Wayne and Defoe has ended England's play altogether. After they were gone nothing much happened anymore. And I can very well imagine that the forward movement at that time would have resulted in another England goal eventually, would Wayne and Defoe not have been substituted *shrugs* I didn't really think the game needed any less action.
... Was that John Terry's grand masterplan 'no matter what the coach or certain players may think'? If yes... well, then I suppose even Germany has a nice chance to win with England now.
Well, never mind.

I did public viewing with friends. ... I love the game too much to ever do it again.

not happy, team: england, football, nationalmannschaft
